Hans was probably more intelligent than many people… If it’s true that he ended up as a war horse in WW1, then sadly he shared the same fate as many humans (intelligent or not) who later died at the front.
That was such a terrible waste of lives! I still can't believe we had another World War after it, and some would even like a third one, if it made them richer.
